Recently, I took a trip with my in-laws to Cannon Beach Oregon. It is a coastal town just filled with photo opportunities and only a short hour’s drive from my beautiful Fishhawk Lake, an easy day trip if you own property at Fishhawk Lake and still want to travel with friends and family.

Here is what greets you as you round the bend on the main drag.

The shops have a plethora of flower arrangements gracing their storefronts and are a dream to photograph.

All of the myriad plants were happy as could be, thriving deliciously in the coastal air of Cannon Beach Oregon!

I spent a bit of time even photographing a couple of fellas as they relaxed (or waited while the wives shopped!)

These two men seemed to be so diametrically opposed that I found it a perfect opportunity to capture them without their knowing.

We also visited The Jeffrey Hull Gallery, where I found the Hulls, Jeff and Carol both working.

We are avid fans of theirs and have some of their artwork hanging in our home at Fishhawk Lake.

Cannon Beach Oregon is one of our favorite destinations, if it’s summer or winter it’s a lovely town that will offer you arts, great food and the beach is a perfect spot to stop and breathe.

And if you’re like this moth and only have a moment to stop by, it’s STILL worth it!
