I just spent a couple of days with David and Gloria Bryen down here in Mexico, and I’m a realtor in Corvallis. I couldn’t believe what a great price this place is! Pictures are lovely…
We talked of marketing and the complications of the various MLS systems/how to expose little jewels like this to people who don’t even know where to look. So, if you would like, I’d be happy to post your listing on Willamette Valley Multiple Listing Service where I belong; it stretches to just north of Eugene, west to the coast, east to the eastern Oregon MLS (Bend’s) and north thru much of Portland, apparently (although I believe they usually use RMLS). I know you’re on expire or withdraw or some hold basis, and I also know we’d have to do some cooperative paperwork to get MLS to let us do it, but am certainly open to helping them, whatever it takes! Since I certainly don’t know anything about your area, any contact would just be sent straight to you.
I just moved to a little cabin on the river outside of Corvallis, so I feel your joy at living in such a spot! Everyone asks how I found it, and that silly owner just put it on Craigslist! Of course, we were looking, so I snagged it. But if it were on our MLS system, it would have disappeared… There are so many people (including some we know) who fish and visit lodges here or up in Canada and Alaska, that it’s hard to believe it could be hard to sell this. Probably just getting the word out…
